Smart Incubator of the Year 2022

The Smart Incubator Award 2022 for TREC-STEP….

TREC-STEP has been awarded the‘Smart Incubator of the Year 2022’, by India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF), a Ministry of Power, Government of India’s Public Private Partnership Forum. The Smart Incubator Award was received by Mr. R. M. P. Jawahar, Executive Director, TREC-STEP in the award ceremony organized by the India Smart Grid Forum, at New Delhi, yesterday, the 4th March, 2022. This ISGF Award 2022, is given in recognition of TREC-STEP’s Business Incubation Performance, Innovation and Societal Impact, especially for the contributions to the Energy Sector.

The prestigious Award Ceremony was organized as part of the India Smart Utility Week 2022 and 8th International Conference and Exhibition on Smart Energy and Smart Mobility at New Delhi, during 2nd to 4th March, 2022. Policy makers, prominent National and International Experts, Entrepreneurs and Industry Members from the Energy and Smart grids sector, Academia and young Technocrats, graced the occasion.

TREC-STEP won this prestigious Award in a stiff competition among 150+ applicant institutions across India and also through rigorous selection process. The Award selection process had three stages, such as detailed application, Pitch Presentation and also public voting of the finalists. A Jury consists of eminent Power Sector Experts, Former Secretaries, Angel Investors and other Power Sector personalities selected the final award winners. TREC-STEP’s Smart Incubator Awards is in the Platinum Category.
